Hey Colleen,
I am with you 100% on the Jane Siberry and Emmy Lou's Wrecking Ball. I
love 'em both. I saw the Innocence Mission open up for Emmy Lou on the
Wrecking Ball tour. Here's another one way out of left field. It's called
"Songs From the Cold Seas" directed by Hector Zazou. It's actually a
collection of different artists doing material from the far north from
around the world. The most notable names are Bjork, Suzanne Vega w/John
Cale, Jane Siberry & Siouxsie. But there's very other very school stuff as
well including a cut from one of my favorite groups, Varttina, from Finland.
It's on Columbia Records so it shouldn't be too hard to track down.
