(Apologies in advance for posting this on ALL the Mac Forums to which I belong).
I recently received one of those greeting cards from one of the online greeting card companies and I keep having this same problem whenever I receive one of these cards: On Internet Explorer (5.0) I get the music without the interactive feature of the card. When I try to access the card through Netscape (4.72), I get the interactive feature, but no music. I have an iMac Rev D. 8.6 OS with 96 MB RAM. Is there some feature or plug-in that I'm lacking or is there something that isn't set right in my preferences? Do I need to post the link for you to check out? On Netscape, I typed in "about plug-ins" as someone had suggested, only to be told by Netscape that I had NO plug-ins. That's not true: I have Quick-Time, Adobe Acrobat, Real Player, Shockwave, and Flash. Apparently, I can't get Sun Java as it is not available for MAC OS 8.6 (who knew?) even after I RE-downloaded those plug-ins, it was still telling me I didn't have any. Is it any wonder why I use Internet Explorer ? !
