I don't think it's possible for any of us to help you with the information provided; we don't know what plugin, if any, is needed. Some observations, however:
1) Since this greeting card runs for you (albeit incorrectly) on both IE and NS, you must have some form of whatever plugin that may be required. This leads to 3 possibilities: you don't have the right version of the plugin, you don't have the right version of the browser, or the card won't run correctly on Mac OS, no matter what you do. You may want to start with updating to current versions of your apps and plugins. IE is at 5.1 and NS is at 4.79 (in the pre-Gecko series). You're plugins are probably out of date, as well. Java is not a plugin (although there are plugins that allow Java applets to run in a browser window). The "classic" Mac OS Java, MRJ, is at version 2.2.5, which corresponds to Sun Java version 1.1.8. If the greeting card requires "Java 2" (really 1.3.x), you will be out of luck; there is no such creature for "classic" Mac OS. You can update your MRJ, separately, from the Apple web pages. If you were to update to Mac OS 9.2.2, it is included in the install. 2) The correct syntax to check plugins in Netscape should be "about:plugins". 3) There is no Sun version of Java for Mac OS. There is only Apple's version, MRJ, as noted above. There are, btw, a disturbing number of Java applets that will only work on Microsoft operating systems. If the greeting card is Java-based and makes use of these proprietary extensions, you will be out of luck on a Mac. 4) I've yet to receive a e-greeting that doesn't work on my Mac.
