Probably the easiest thing to try is zapping the pram.  Hold down cmd,
option, p, r all at startup.  Wait until you hear the chime twice and then
release the keys.  That usually fixes it.  If not you may have a more
serious Open Firmware problem.  In that case the fix gets much more
complicated.
