I'm not sure what to do about your Extensions Manager crashing, I've never
had that happen to me. What version of the Mac OS are you running?

Is the Control Strip showing up in the "Control Panels" sub-menu of the
Apple Menu?

If you just need to re-enable the Control Strip control panel, you can move
it from the "Control Panels (Disabled)" folder to the "Control Panels"
folder. Both of these are inside the System Folder. You might have to
re-start before it will work.
