Yes, the 512MB SO-DIMM is almost $100 more than the 256MB SO-DIMM. While 
I debate the justification of this, I also would need to know if there 
is a hardware limitation to the max size of the SO-DIMM that can be used 
in each socket.

Is there a hardware limitation?
