Trying to do something by the book is not paying off for me. I have ordered
my new iMac and am moving the strawberry iMac upstairs for my daughter. I
currently have a router as I have my company laptop and iMac in to my cable
connections. My cable company states that I will need to buy another modem
(that is not a problem) and pay $20 a month for the second service..this is
a problem to me. They do mention that I can go wireless legally and not pay
them any other money..so my questions will be in connection with this
wireless connection. My router has room for 2 more machines....what would I
need to do and how much would it cost to get my iMac to work in a wireless
fashion, and would it be able to go through the ceiling to the second level
of my very modestly sized home.

Thanks

Joel Stern
