Just about ANY email program is better than Outlook Depress! ;) Seriously, have you tried the latest version of Mail in Mac OS 10.2? I've heard that it is much improved over the earlier version. Otherwise, look at PowerMail or Eudora. While you may have to pay for these, the cost is way less than $400 you'd have shell out for Micro$oft Office just to get Entourage.
