Dan, have you tried Spellcatcher (sp?) from Casady & Greene? I've 
heard that it is pretty seamless. I don't use it but I do use Eudora 
5.1 which comes with the similar Spellswell 7 from Working Software 
(http://www.working.com) and it works fine.
