Hi eMacers:
Many comments have been made about how loud the fan is on the "eMac".
Some people were used to the fanless CRT iMacs and thought the sound
level was excessive, to the point of returning them. I know that this
kind of commentary is dependent on a lot of factors, such as
location, surroundings, noise levels, etc. and that each person will
have a different view.
My father-in-law has a summer 2001 Quicksilver, and we all think it's
much louder than the CRT iMac (with fan) that it replaced, I even
have been known to call it the "QuickHoover". 8) Some people have
said the "eMac" has comparable noise levels.
So, I guess my question is, does anybody here have an "eMac" that
previously owned a CRT iMac (with fan)? How does the sound level of
the "eMac" compare to the "iMac"?
