I'm a newcomer to this list, myself so allow me to merely peep my opinion meekly into the foray on this issue.
It seems to me that the daily business of the list is to answer questions that are submitted to it. If there are more questions submitted about OS-X issues on iMacs, it is because the iMac owners who are trying OS-X are the vocal minority at the present. If the Pre-OS-X contingent wants to see more focus on Pre-OS-X issues, they need to stop lurking (no offense intended) and ask the Pre-OS-X questions for which they desire answers. You can't depend on the good will of others to know what you want, if you don't ask for what you want.
