A lot of us are not just trying, but actually use OSX and would never ever
want to go back to the instability of OS9 and earlier. I even upgraded a G3
with only 64 MB of RAM, just so I never have to worry about booting it. (It
*is* dog-slow of course, but for running iTunes and three server
applications, it works very well.

My hunch is that there are more OSX users on this list than pre-OSX-users,
so perhaps there is more questions asked about OSX because it is not the
minority that uses it.
