I use it with a Polaroid Sprintscan 35 (SCSI) connected to an iMac via a FireSCSI adapter under 10.2.3. It gives this scanner a new lease of life. Not all non X supported scanners are supported. This is the non supported list from www.harick.com. I also have heard of quite a few Umax 3400's not working, as at some time in production Umax changed a chip type that Vuescan works with.
