I have a 10 gig internal drive and a 80 gig external. The internal is going
bad I think, so I need to replace it. What is the maximum gigs that a Mac
can recognize?

And is this per device, or total of all drives?

Also, I have seen posts about certain drives don't work well as an internal
drive. I need to know which ones work well.

I have a 400 slot loader.

Thanks
