I did not download and save all the update packages, just let Software Update do it's thing. I have noticed that in Library/Receipts on my hard drive there are 48 items, most of which are Installer Packages. An example is "MacOSXUpdateCombo10.2.8.pkg". Is there anyway I could use these?
But, seems to me that the simplest thing to do would be to use Carbon Copy Cloner to create a clone of your current Jaguar OS on your ext FW drive.
I've been trying out Carbon Copy Cloner for a few weeks, so I've already got a backup of my current system. What I was hoping to accomplish is more of a "default" install of 10.2.x, that way it wouldn't have any of my additional apps or systen tweaking to confuse matters when helping out family and friends.
