Listerines:
The loudest Mac in the house is my daughters stock 500 MHz DV SE iMac.
The single 30-gig HD in it makes a high pitched whine that can be heard from the next room.
I have picked up a new quiet 7200 RPM Western Digital 120 Gig HD /8 MB Cache to put into it.
How can I move her files from the 30 gig (two 15 gig partitions, OSX 10.2.8 & OS9.1) onto the new HD (two 60 gig partitions) without having to re-install the operating systems ?
I have no shortage of hardware to work with including an external FireWire hard drive case.
