Hi,

I posted this question a couple of weeks ago and am ready to buy parts so I
wanted to make sure. Could someone please help me to clarify it.

My iMac Bondi 233mhz is shutting off by itself. The first time I noticed a
problem it was flickering and making an electrical crack sound. When it shut
off for the first time I had to wait a short time and than use the power
button to restart. Yesterday it shut off for a second and came right back on
again. Now that is what it is doing most of the time...monitor shutting off
with a crackling sound and popping right back on.

So my question is it the analog board (by the way is the flyback part of the
analog board or part of the crt tube), the power supply or something else.

Also does anyone know if I CAN or CAN'T put in an analog board from a 233,
266, 333 or does it have to be an exact part number.

Thank you very much,

MaxTek
