Do you have any info on the DW6000 that shows that it is Windows based, or are you just assuming that based on the fact that the old equipment required a Windows PC?
Google is your friend. I didn't save the urls; ended up in some forums where they talked about DW60xx issues. How the "automatic" updates are handled, what to do when they fail (which is often), and about hacking them - to change registry values and such in an attempt to close holes, to stop worm infections.
