We use exactly this setup on one of our macs. Here is how I did it: 1) Goto the administrators home directory and locate the folder where the music is stored. (in our case Music/iTunes/iTunes\ Music). Get Info on the folder and change the permissions so that you and other members of your group have read&write permissions. Click the button "Apply to enclosed items". 2) Log-in to the other persons account and start up iTunes. Open iTunes preferences and change the location of the music folder to point to the music in the administrators home directory (in our case /Users/admin/Music/iTunes/iTunes\ Music). Also make sure that you uncheck "keep music library organised". If you add music to the library, you need to goto import in the file menu in iTunes for the other account that accesses the music to keep the libraries synchronised. 3) There is no step 3 ;-) Cheers, Tim ___________________________________________________________ Book yourself something to look forward to in 2005.
