Hi,
I have a 15" flat panel Imac, 700MHz, G4
Memory: 256 MB SDRAM
OSX 10.3.8
I want to buy more memory, as things are slowing down a bit due to
more and more work with photos and graphics.
What are my best options (given that I am working with a small budget)
in terms of a good place to buy the memory and how much memory to get?
Also, does the current 256 module have to be completely replaced or
can I add memory to it? Finally, where is a good place to get the
memory installed and how pricey is the installation (or is it
something folks usually do themselves)?
All information very much appreciated.
Thanks,
You can get another 256 mb module at http://www.macsales.com/. You
should be able to install it yourself without any problem.
