I'm using a G5 iMac, MAC OS 10.4, with wireless keyboard and mouse.

I recently had the following article brought to my attention:
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2002/11/21/why_does_my_typing_appear/

It specifically refers to HP keyboards, but it has me a little concerned. Can anyone put my mind at rest?

I hadn't come across this story - it does seem to be a problem specific to (some) HP keyboards. From the brief Register story, it looks like a two-fold problem: the keyboard's range is much more than it needs to be, and (as far as I can tell) there's no encryption.

Apple's wireless KBs use 128-bit encryption, and I'm pretty sure that if there were security/privacy problems we'd have heard a lot about them before now.
