Dear Listers:
So a friend was upgrading his graphite to OS X and neglected to update
the firmware. Needless to say, the screen is dead, so I connected an
external monitor. It booted once, but the hard drive only had 9.0 on
it. I installed the 9.1 update and restarted. Now I can't get it to
boot off either the internal drive or the CD/DVD-ROM. All I get is a
startup chime and the white screen on the external display.
I'm sure this issue has been discussed ad nauseum, but can someone
point me to an in-depth procedure for resurrecting this machine?
Carlos
