Hi everybody.
My son is trying to load Gimp but it says it needs Apple X11. We've
downloaded X11 and tried to install it but it fails, saying there
is newer software on the computer. Where, and how do we load it?
Allow me to be blunt here:
Forget this, and download (and pay for) graphic converter.
Unless you and your son are exceptionally geeky, this gimp/x11 thing
ain't for you. You'll spend FAR more time and effort on IT than on
the actual end product you were trying to accomplish in the first
place (ex. editing a photo).
Get Photoshop Elements or Graphic Converter and don't waste your time
(unless, of course, that is your actual goal -- I know a LOT of men
who do this!!).
