It's hard to imagine cooling problems given your location Bill. Google Map puts you in about 10,000 feet of water. Swimming teacher perhaps? iMac powered by electric eels? ;-)

Hum, I had problems like that as well.

I turned out to be that the roster on the bottom of the computer was
full of dust. Removed it and everything is back to normal.

Any help?
