I am sorry. I didn't see or I guess missed that you tried another
drive. That is really strange.
Can you try it with a different keyboard or power it up with the
keyboard unplugged and see if it still happens?

work on your iMac.
Thanks for the offer, but I already mentioned that I tried a different
drive, and the problem still occured, and then I tested both drives in
another RevA iMac, and the problem didn't occur... thus isolating that
the problem is not with the drives.
So replacing my drive won't do me any good.
