The keyboard I'm using doesn't have an eject button. Does one of the 
buttons on a regular keyboard map as eject?

I'll try it without a keyboard later today (I'm not at that location 
again until this afternoon). I hadn't thought about the fact that if a 
regular key maps as eject, it could be a stuck key. I don't see the eject 
symbol appear on screen like I do with my eMac when you hit the eject 
key, so I don't think that is going to turn out to be it... but it's 
worth a try.
