The tray load has a semi-standard multiscan 15 inch monitor. It 
terminates with a mostly normal 15 pin RGB connector as found on older 
Macs. In theory, with the tray load models, you could disconnect the 
monitor and connect that cable to another Mac.

This is not true with the slot load iMacs. They have a custom wiring 
setup and are rather difficult to get to behave in a manner that allows 
you to use the CRT as a monitor on another computer.

The 350 MHz iMac is a slot load.
