Oh Well, seems restarting the computer fixed the problem, whatever it was.
The server has a site that you can check the messages before downloading
them to your computer.  We are on dial-up.  I know, pre-historic isn't it?
Unfortunately we live in an area not served by cable.  Thanx anyway ED
