I have a HD I picked up during the pre-Christmas sales, but it's still in the box since I haven't found an enclosure yet. Actually, I found plenty of enclosures, just not one worthy of sitting next to the iMac. ;) I also want it to be Firewire capable. The only ones I saw so far to my liking are those that include a HD, which I obviously don't need.
I almost broke down this week and thought about getting the Mad Dog Data Vault MD-EN350COM, which is 50% off at CompUSA this week. <http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ANB772> It's not that bad looking aside from that logo up front. Then I saw the review commenting that it won't allow you to chain (despite having two FW ports,) which kind of turned me off to it. Then again when I think about I don't know if I'll have a need to do that anytime soon, (but it's still nice to know you have that power at your disposal. :) That said, know of any nice FW enclosures that the iMac doesn't mind being seen in public with? -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
