Daniel,
That drive is one that I have been considering. How have you found it
to be in terms of ease of set, reliability, general use, etc? Do you
know if it can be partitioned?
Thanks.

I have two matching LaCie 160GB Porsche drives, which I bought a while
back from their refurbished sale site for $100 each. I wrote a backup
system that runs in an nightly cron job, and I rotate the drives out
weekly... one is always at my office, and the other is always at home.
My backup solution creates a weekly "full" backup, and daily
incremental backups. The drive at home is connected to my iMac for
automatic nightly backups, and the one at my office is occasionally
connected to my PowerBook for manual backups. This way I have not
only nightly backups of my iMac, but I also have remote backups, which
lessens the likelihood of total data loss.
