I use [EMAIL PROTECTED] on Windows. For it, the default port is 5900. If you
choose to use the VNC Repeater, the Repeater's default port is 5901.
For those of you who don't know what the repeater can do for you...
Set it up on one machine on the inside of your network. Open 5901 on
your router/firewall and forward it to the repeater machine. Now from
outside your network, using VNC, you can proxy to the repeater machine
(by going to the external IP address of your router/firewall) and use
it to bounce you to any other VNC machine on the inside of your
network. Very handy, especially if you need to get remote access to
several servers or client machines from outside the network.

Lonnie.
