Good explanation, Jim, thanks. As for RAM, the cost is amazingly low nowadays, and all one needs to open up is a little door. I have kept my lime green iMac and put it in the playroom mainly because I can't bear to part with such a nice looking computer. It's a cool-looking DVD player. My experience is that the children have only slight interest in the Classic games, unfortunately. Good OSX games for the G3 include the Professor Fizzwizzle series.
