I have a G4 quicksilver, about 7+ years old that I am looking for a
monitor for. I just bought a 19" Acer lcd monitor that I thought was
going to work with both PC and Mac (I was thinking of sharing the
monitor between two computers). I discovered it works with the PC but
not the Mac. With the Mac, a message comes up that says it can't
transfer the data or can't interpret it or something. (If the exact
message would help I'll plug it in again and repost.) I did quite a
bit of searching online before I bought this monitor, and thought it
was PC/Mac compatible... but maybe I ended up purchasing the wrong
model.

So, the question is - is there an adapter that would make this work
with the Mac? Or do I need to shop for another monitor, and if so—how
do I find one for sure that will work with this G4? (Other than
buying an Apple monitor.)
