I went out to Radio Shack for another item and discovered they had a
USB KVM switch half off ($15) and decided to give it a shot. I am
pleasantly surprised that we were able to get this little gizmo to work.

We are using the apple keyboard and mouse since they are USB and the
HP keyboard and mouse were not. The gizmo is sharing the monitor,
keyboard and mouse nicely. A minor issue, when switching from the Mac
to the PC, the PC needs to re-recognize the mouse each time. (Maybe a
different mouse would solve this?)

Also, not sure if this is going to repeat or not, but monitor
settings on the Mac had to be reset again... but this may be because
I went in and changed the monitor settings after zapping the pram.
Maybe if I leave the monitor at the default settings it won't do that
again.

Thanks for the info.
