In OS 9, if it's the standard OS 9 multi-users thing, you can boot via  
an OS 9 disk, then move the multiusers extensions from the system  
folder, iirc...I know it was this simple, but I haven't done it in  
over 5 years, and frankly my OS 9 expertise is pretty well rusted shut  
by now :-)
