Greetings One and All.

Need some info/advice/guidance on moving some of my OS 9 apps
to my OS X 10.5.8 Leopard (soon to be Snow Leopard). I can't afford
to buy new apps like this, so must use the OS 9 ones that I have had
for quite a while. I don't know if/how I can do this, hence the
request
for assistance. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Here's what I want to do:
Move OS 9 apps Adobe Illustrator 8.0, Adobe PhotoShop 5.0, and if
possible, QuarkExpress 4.0 onto my Intel iMac 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo with
2G's of RAM and a 298GB hard drive. I may want to move some fonts
over
as well. Is it even possible to do this?

First of all, I think I should make a partition of my Intel HD for the
OS 9
system and the apps I want to move. Correct? Any idea how I figure
out how large to make the partition? Is this the proper way to do it?

Second, how do I go about collecting all the parts of the OS 9 system
and the parts of the individual apps from my iMac 350MHz Blueberry
in order to transfer them to my Intel iMac? Is there a certain order
in
which I should do things?

Third, I'm still looking at various emulators, such as SheepShaver,
to run the OS 9 apps on my Intel. I see that there are both pros and
cons
to some of these, so I need some experienced guidance on what one
I should use. Also, will whatever emulator I decide to go with open
and
run ALL these OS 9 apps, or do I have to do something unique for each
app.?

Fourth, I think, from what I have seen here and elsewhere, that I need
to
do a "boot" into OS 9 whenever I want to use one of those apps.
Correct?
How do I do that? I seem to have read somewhere, probably here, that
you hold down a key when re-starting the iMac, but I'm not sure.
Guidance
please?

Fifth, is this the correct list to be posting this on?

Thanks for all your help in past incidents I've encountered, and
thanks in
advance for any help you can give me on this adventure.

Bill
