Since VPC is made by Bloatware itself, (aka Microsoft) it runs VERY VERY slowly. Our 667Mhz Mac had trouble running XP with VPC. If you really do want to run Windows on your Mac in an emulator, I would go with something simpler like VirtualBox (I think that's what it's called, not quite sure) or Parallels or Fusion on intel Macs.
