Yeah, the min speed on a mac for reasonable VPC 7.0.3 performance with WinXP pro is 700MHz.. my Quicksilver is 800mhz... if it's too slow (but nothing was slower for me than my first mac, a 25MHz Quadra 610) I'll load VPC up on my 1.6GHz titanium powerbook
