Hidenao, Analogous to the pixel spacing / pixel size duality, the frame rate and the detector integration (exposure) time should be treated as two separate parameters in any video imaging system model.
Good luck with your project. The fps means "Frame rate in frames per second" according to the Calibration class. https://imagej.net/ij/developer/api/ij/ij/measure/Calibration.html I think it is better to maintain consistency of variables between FileInfo and Calibration class. Furthermore, in camera usage, we set a parameter of fps or exposure time (not frame interval). It's convenient to have a variable of fps in FileInfo class in order to input the frame rate directly.
