I am using Imail with approx 50 user across 10+ domains. Only on rare
occasions when I use Imail out in the field via our sdsl 277k connection
doesit hang. With a simple refresh or second click ir works fine.
I would also like to be able to scale to 1,000 or more accounts with 20 to
30 people accessing it all the time, but their is concern.

I hear you len. Yes I want to scale to 10,000 +.
However, right now I have a t1 connecttion to the net. I access imail via
the web.
I have a grnd total of about 100 email accounts with oh say a max. of 2
people accessing the server at any given time.
Scalling to 10,000+ Hell at this point I would pleased to see snappy
performance with scaling to 10 (not 10,000).
Granted, i would not be happy or long, but it's a start :).
Right now if some one said whats the reqs for imail. I would say that for a
user base of TWO accounts a dell powerserver with 256 megr ram and a 600 mhz
piii, snappy 10,000 scsi drives and an ENDUSER conection at T1 is NOT
ENOUGH.
But then, i've had a very rough morning afer a very rough night after a very
rough year, decade and well, you get the point.
