My scroll bars are only showing up as gray, when I
switch back and forth between templates.
Do I need to change anything?

You mean how did we color the scrollbars? Just by adding stylesheet
properties. Look in the css_MessageList.cgi file for an example.
If you mean
"how do you", they should already be colored, according to the
loaded style
cookie.
