I have been able to come close to opening Imail when clicking on a mailto
link.
In windows explorer, open up Folder Options... under the View or Tools menu,
then click on the File Types tab and go to URL:MailTo Protocol. Then choose
edit. I created a new Action to save the open in outlook setting, then
changed open to say
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE"
http://200.200.200.75:8383/?
I did this a few months ago(before getting a new hard drive) and don't
recall needing the /? at the end, but that is what I needed to do now to get
it working.
This only opens up the web interface to the point where I can login, and it
puts the mailto info in the address bar as well. I just copy the to address
and login as usual.
It is a backwards way of doing it, but it gets the job done.

No, sorry, that's not possible.
