Yea...That is how you run both on one
server..

you could have iMail and IIS both listening on 80, and wouldn't have to mess

?? I'm missing the problem and the desired result
here...Are you talking about IMAIL Webserver and IIS serving images/pages on the
Same IP and port? If thats it then thats def not going to happen and thats not
an IMAIL or IIS prob, thats a TCP/IP Standard. If its something else...Please
elaborate...because apparently I'm missing it :)

But you're running one of them on a
port other than 80. If iMail would bind to a specific IPs, you could
have iMail and IIS both listening on 80, and wouldn't have to mess with
redirects.
Ideally, if 7 is not IIS based, they would at
least offer the option of an isapi or
cgi interface that could be run under IIS, then all port/address
issues would be moot. Of course they could argue the potential for
IIS mis-configuration would open up security and support issues.

Now ya got me worried.
I'm new to this
BUT I am running both on the same machine and so far everything seems
OK.
