Ed's running against 6.04, and (as I said) I can run against Imail 6 (it's 6.06 specifically) seamlessly. Regarding that message you quoted, you never posted it to any list I'm subscribed to. In any case, if you were referring to technote http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-20001219-DM01.htm, regarding 6.05 upgrades, you haven't read it correctly. Ipswitch's response is not that... >you cannot run an external database such as sql with imail 6.05 ...by any possible interpretation. They simply tell you to be attentive to some deeper table design issues that are double-checked with that ODBCUSER.DLL. Let's get Ryan off on the right foot instead of making him pay for an upgrade he probably doesn't need.
