I just wanted to mention that I did get it to work with SQL server 7.0  What I was missing was part of the DSN.   The DSN field within iMail administrator should read  DSNNAME;UID=user;PWD=password   It works, and quite well!  Just never make the mistake that I did and forget to set the primary key or all of your records will duplicate.   Ryan ----- Original Message ----- From: Webmaster Oilfield Directory To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, February 01, 2002 8:16 PM Subject: Re: [imail] Using Imail 6.05 /w ODBC/Oracle 8i If it's anything like SQL SERVER, that is exactly your problem, you cannot run an external database ( like oracle, or sql ) with imail no matter what odbc driver you use.
