This is EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It finally works !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this product.
My mistake was that I was trying to put in passwords somewhere in the
registry under Ipswitch (seperating the DSN name from the userid by "/").
After your sugestion, I went into IMAIL admin, and yes, after the DSN name,
i put in ";UID=user;PWD=password;" and it all started working.
Thank you for saving me.

To provide a username and password in DNS, please see KB article:
http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-19990622-DM01.htm
which states:
Question/Problem: When I set up the SQL dsn and try to read/add users, it
just
doesn't work.
Answer/Solution: Make sure that you have to login information for the
database
in the Imail DSN setup thusly:
DSNname;UID=<SQL user id>;PWD=<SQL password for this userid>
