Actually 5.09

IPSwitch does have a BETA program, and a very fine one I might add. They
are responsive to their Beta testers and work very hard at working bugs out
before releasing a product to those Beta Testers. I think it boils down to
one thing. That it's impossible to test for every installation possible.
They write products that scrupulously adhere to the RFC, however that same
can not be said about the OS and clients some individuals use in the
networks. I have found in my limited experience that most of the reported
bugs occur due to exterior apps or protocols that are extra-RFC. Certainly
there have been a few bugs with IMail however I think there are far fewer
problems with IMail than I have observed in other mail servers. FAR FEWER.
And consider that IPSwitch is very responsive to their customer base. What
other company (name a single one) that is as responsive to their customers,
often making changes in their product based on comments from customers on a
mailing list? I can't think of one and I have been in the computer business
for most of my life.

I have received emails from individuals on this list regarding my quest for
better LISTSERV support from IMail, asking me why I continue to stay with
IMail and not adopt another product entirely. Loyalty and cost. IpSwitch
has earned my loyalty and my support because they above all other companies
has proven they are willing to work with us in improving their product.
They have their marketing arm to be sure, but you name one other company in
this line of business that actually was willing to change their pricing
structure to accommodate their customers. We saw that right here last year
didn't we? IpSwitch actually reduced prices based on nothing more than
disgruntled list members. I think I recall it was no more than 20 people on
this list at that time who complained (bitterly to be sure), but IpSwitch
swayed their decision to up prices based on that alone.

There simply is NO BETTER product that you can purchase anywhere than IMail.
I've tried several and hated every one of them for one reason or another.
