I would probably file a complaint with the ACLU of IP addresses for
discrimination just because they're labeled "odd".  Instead of "odd", I
would request in the complaint that they be called modulo 2 challenged.

On a more serious note, you certainly have a good point.  The problem here
is that a number of organizations, including some very large ones like Time
Warner and MSN/Hotmail block for only being in CBL, as we discovered
recently.  This is a very bad practice, but right or not, it's probably
easier to solve the problem by pushing CBL than to attempt to push everyone
who blocks on CBL, especially the larger companies.

All  they're  doing  is  maintaining a list using their own criteria. If
someone  else  decides  to  use that list they obviously agree with that
criteria.

If  I  maintain a list of odd numbered IP addresses and somebody uses it
as a spam filter are you going to complain to me if you've got an odd IP
address?
