Here's another problem to add to our growing list of issues with IMail.   Lately for the past week, it seems that IMail stops allowing anyone to authenticate through SMTP.  Any request to authenticate via SMTP is denied even through we have this option in IMail enabled.  It just randomly dies about once every 1 - 2 days and I have to manually restart the SMTP service to get it to accept the authentications again.  When this occurs, it happens on all domains on IMail even those using IMail databases, so it's not ODBC related.  Again, we're using 5.09.

Here's a snipit of the log when the SMTP authentication fails:

03:03 08:35 SMTPD(0EAE00C0) [207.7.90.1] connect 209.96.153.18 port 1540
03:03 08:35 SMTPD(0EAE00C0) [209.96.153.18] EHLO Steven

Here's a snipit of the log moments later after I restarted the SMTP service and tried to re-send the message.  The attempt was succesful:

03:03 08:45 SMTPD(025F007A) [207.7.90.1] connect 209.96.153.18 port 1559
03:03 08:45 SMTPD(025F007A) [209.96.153.18] EHLO Steven
03:03 08:45 SMTPD(000000EA) Authenticated stevep, session treated as local.
03:03 08:45 SMTPD(025F007A) [209.96.153.18] MAIL FROM: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
03:03 08:45 SMTPD(025F007A) [209.96.153.18] RCPT TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
03:03 08:45 SMTPD(025F007A) [209.96.153.18] E:\IMAIL\spool\Dc1ef07a.SMD 1599

The IP 209.96.153.18 is not listed as local in IMail's access list.  That's why I was trying to use SMTP auth.  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide here.
