Valid Host name AND domain name in the DNS settings.
DNS setting is set for:

domain name: kookiejar.net
IP: 209.205.25.141
RDNS: mail.kookiejar.net.

Not that it's particularly funny, but after the above minor changes, the
problem is still 100% reproduceable.
